Location
The hotel is located adjacent to Bergen's central railway station, while being relatively central this location is still about 10 minutes walk to the major shopping area of Bergen and waterfront area.
Rooms
As this is a very old hotel the rooms vary a great deal in size and shape. The hotel also has some combi rooms (a room of one permanent bed plus a fold out bed). Rooms are of a reasonable standard and furnished to an adequate level. Room size in general is medium.
Restaurant
The dining room is one of the features of the hotel and is a popular venue at lunchtimes as well as evenings. Food is reasonably priced and surroundings are nice.
General
This is one of the oldest hotels in Norway. Guests wanting a very modern hotel will be disappointed. However, those who like a bit of charm from their hotel will be pleasantly surprised.
